Our Process
A finished space starts with the right plan, then the right prep, then the right system. Here’s how your project moves from first call to a floor that’s ready for daily life.
Request an estimate
Share a few details and photos, and we’ll schedule a quick call.
On-site consultation
We check the space, answer questions, and provide a clear written estimate that outlines prep, finish, and timeline.
Installation day
You receive updates when the crew is on the way, starting, and wrapping up. Adjacent areas are protected and everything is cleaned before we leave.
Follow-up
We check in after cure, review care tips, and make sure you love the result.
Working With Pace X
You stay in the loop without doing the heavy lifting. Your schedule sets the pace, your choices are made with full-size samples in your own light, and your project has a single point of contact from first hello to final walkthrough.
The Pace X crew treats your home like it’s ours, protecting thresholds and walls, managing noise and dust, and keeping access clear for family and pets. If something unexpected shows up in the slab, you get options and pricing before we move forward, not surprises after.
When the work is done, the space is clean, the timeline is reviewed, care is simple, and you know exactly when life can move back in.
The Prep Every Pace X Floor Gets
Assess & Test
Hardness, moisture, and surface condition are checked so the system bonds for the long haul.
02
Diamond Grind
We use walk-behind grinders in open areas and hand grinders at edges and joints create a consistent profile for a clean, bond-ready surface.
03
Repair & Resurface
Cracks are opened and filled, pits and spalled spots are rebuilt, and the slab is re-ground where needed for a smooth, uniform base.
04
Build the Finish
For chip and quartz, color chips are broadcast to full coverage then scraped and reclaimed for consistent texture and tone; solid color and metallic use layered coats tuned for even coverage and sheen.
05
Top Coat
A polyaspartic finish is squeegeed and back-rolled for even protection, curing fast so you can walk in hours and get back to life quickly.
Choose Your System

Chip System
Full-coverage flake evens out color and helps conceal small slab flaws, so the floor looks uniform from wall to wall. The texture adds subtle grip without feeling rough and makes tire marks and dust less noticeable between cleanings.
Choose from 30+ blends to match cabinets, walls, and vehicles, then enjoy simple rinse-and-go care.
Great for: garages, patios, pool decks, driveways, light-duty shops.
Quartz System
A fine aggregate texture delivers extra durability and confident footing in wet or high-traffic areas. It stands up to abrasion, chemicals, and sun while keeping a consistent, professional look.
If you need traction by doors, steps, or splash zones, this is the finish that feels secure and cleans quickly.
Great for: pool decks, entries and steps, sloped driveways, mudrooms, commercial corridors and prep areas.

Metallic System
Pourable pigments create one-of-a-kind depth and movement, turning the floor into a showpiece without seams or tile lines. Light plays across the surface to brighten the room and highlight architecture or displays.
Sealed under a tough clear coat, it keeps the wow factor while staying practical to clean.
Great for: interior spaces like rec rooms, home studios, showrooms, retail lobbies, offices.
Solid Color System (Polyurea)
When you need quick turnaround and tough, all-weather performance, solid color polyurea is the move. This system resists abrasion and heavy chemicals and handles repeated freeze–thaw cycles, with a one-day install in many spaces to keep downtime minimal.
The stack is designed for longevity—primer, pigmented base, build/top layers, and a clear protective seal—for a crisp, modern finish that cleans easily.
Great for: commercial bays and service areas, warehouses, cold-exposed entries, high-traffic interiors, busy garages.

Solid Color System (Epoxy)
Choose a clean, uniform look that makes large rooms feel organized and professional. Solid color epoxy delivers a durable, affordable surface with fast installation, UV-stable color options, and custom color matching to fit your brand or home palette.
The build typically follows a multi-layer sequence—primer, pigmented build coat(s), and a protective top layer—with a low-odor, two-day install in most spaces.
Great for: garages, showrooms, veterinary offices, production facilities, wide commercial rooms.
